• Join one of Sorya Kayaking's half-day kayaking excursions. They have 2-person kayaks, the guides are very professional and friendly, and the excursion lasts 3 hours. However, you should allow 5 hours for the briefing by the Sorya Kayaking team plus the transfer time to the kayak departure point.

      Morning tour starts around 7am and        afternoon tour around 1pm (schedule

      to be reconfirmed by Sorya Kayaking

      according to the period).

      For us, it's a fantastic experience as 

      you kayak through the flooded forest,

      stop on an island to swim in the

      Mekong and have a snack and

      continue the journey to arrive in the

      dolphin sanctuary silently.

• Gentle Trek up to Phnom Sombok  to overlook the Mekong and visit the Hill Top Pagoda, as part of a tour of Kratié
   

• Cycle the almost flat roads between Stung Treng, Kratié  and Chhlong for a longer tour of this region

• Visit Kratié Heritage Town, over 100 years of history as you weave around the market tasting the local specialty of sticky rice or fried coconut rice cakes.
